About This Test
This test measures the time it takes for your browser to fetch small resources (favicon files) from various servers around the world. The latency shown includes:
- DNS Resolution: Time to resolve domain name to IP address
- TCP Connection: Time to establish TCP connection
- TLS Handshake: Time for SSL/TLS negotiation (HTTPS)
- Request/Response: Time to send request and receive response
Sequential Testing: Tests are performed one at a time (not in parallel) to avoid bandwidth competition and ensure accurate measurements. Each server is tested once.
Results: After all tests complete, results are automatically sorted from lowest to highest latency. Failed requests (due to CORS or network issues) show "N/A" and appear at the bottom of the list.
